One day, Swami Vivekananda's mother asked him to hand over a knife to her. Swami Vivekananda brought the knife, held the sharp side in his hand, and handed his mother the covered side. His mother immediately expressed her admiration for him and informed him he was prepared to contribute to society's well-being. He asked his mother why she was saying this ti him. She responded: Your holding the blade's sharp edge in your hand as you handed me the knife to prevent injury showed the care and compassion you have for others. She asked him to extend the same love and compassion other beings in his life.
This incident of Swami Vivekanand's life shows how principled, loving, caring and tender-hearted he was. Swami Vivekanand Ji was born on 12 January 1863 to a Bengali family in Kolkata, Bengal. His real name was Narendranath Datta. He was an Indian monk, a religious leader, a philosopher as well as an authoer. His contribution to Indian society can never bre forgotten.
Swami Vivekanand was a man of his principles and integrity who dedicated his whole life toward the humanity and upliftment of the society. He was known for his outstanding clarity of mind. One of his defininf characterisitics was the unique ability to see both the substance and subtext of any situation. Aprt from being a studious person, he was also an eloquent speaker. He had an extraordinary ability to convey his thoughts to others in a way that was both understandable and meaningful.
Swami Vivekanand's everlasting dedication to the truth and unwavering faith in the utmost best of people were two additional significant characteristics of his character. Every person has the potential to be great, and in his view, the goal of hid life to tap that potential and use it to make the world a better place. He was determined to do everything in his power to reduce the suffering and inequity in society.
Finally, Swami Vivekananda was renowned for his limitless energy and contagious excitement. He was a man who inspired everyone around him with his sense of purpose and his abiding love for humanity. He exuded enthusiasm and optimism. He truly lived up to the principles he promoted, and his legacy has inspired and uplifted people all throughout the world.
