Crimes against women are increasing in the blink of an eye. It is also seen in the surveys of many big organizations that men see women as a pillow for their anger and treat them as a punching bag. According to Wikipedia,65% of men in India believe that women have to tolerate domestic violence in order to keep the family together. Isn't this the husband's responsibility to keep his family together and love his wife who has come to him to leave behind her own family? According to the United Nations' survey, a crime against a woman is committed every 3 minutes. So-called men are giving competition to 2 minutes noodles ... This phenomenon is the reason why women cannot pursue their dreams and they end up cooking meals and cleaning all the mess created by men . Enough Data is not present currently which can define cruelty against women not only by men but also by their in-laws. Molestation at work by senior employees, violence at home by husbands, and how can we forget about those accusations and blames of mother- in -laws towards their daughter-in-laws? The list of crimes against women wil go on and on and on all the hard drives of computers and paper scripts will get exhausted but the list of these crimes will never finish. I won't even say that we need strict laws and punishments because these men have silenced women to this extent that women would not even report it to the police . Sometimes women don't even realise that what they are going through is illegal because they see it in every other household so they believe that this is the lifestyle of a woman listening to taunts of mother- in -law and abuses of husbands whether physical or vocal it is their life and they have to get through it phasing them daily. Dowry crimes which we think are now fully vanished are still present but the new system to take dowry nowadays is to get married by saying we don't want anything but after marriage torturing and harassing the wife and telling her to call her parents and make them gift a car to him. These are today's husbands strategies towards dowry. Walking through any locality in India we can hear abuses of husband or screams of wives everywhere. These crimes need to stop and laws are not the thing which need to be changed the major thing we should change is our mindset our thinking that men are superior to women is the key to women harassment and even girl child discrimination. Even though we say we are developed we don't discriminate among genders we all know deep down that we do ,for example, my brother had a girl child and our relatives said its okay next time it will be a boy. . This is not only our relative's thinking but this is the reality. We say everything about equality justice and freedom but deep down we think boy will take our family to next generation which is rubbish we should know that god made us one .Our religion should be humanity and all boys and girls can take it forward .
